1. Information you provide

When you request a free consultation, the form asks for your name, email address, whether lessons are for an adult or a child or teen, piano experience, and preferred lesson format. You may also provide a student’s age if under 18, available times, and goals or questions. We request age rather than a date of birth.

If you contact Musium by email or telephone, we receive the information you choose to share and your contact details. Please avoid sending passwords, payment-card details, government identification numbers, or sensitive medical information through the consultation form.

2. Website visits and browser storage

Website hosting and form-delivery providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, request times, and referring pages to deliver their services and protect against abuse.

The website stores your English or Korean language preference in your browser’s local storage under musium-language. This preference is used to display your chosen language and is not sent by the site’s language-setting code to Musium. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data.

The current website code does not include advertising pixels or a separate visitor-analytics script. Musium’s own site code does not set cookies; hosting and security providers may use their own technologies as described in their policies.

3. How Musium uses information

• Respond to inquiries and consultation requests.
• Discuss lesson goals, availability, and a suitable lesson format.
• Arrange consultations and communicate about your request.
• Operate the website, prevent spam, and resolve delivery or security problems.

Submitting a consultation request does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. Musium does not sell consultation information or use it for targeted advertising.

4. Providers and external services

Formspree receives consultation-form submissions and provides form processing and email delivery. Its services may process the submitted fields and technical information about the request. See the Formspree Privacy Policy.

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the website and provides network and security services. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Email services: Musium uses its Gmail contact address to receive and reply to inquiries. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

The site links to YouTube, Naver Blog, and Instagram. Sample-lesson thumbnails are hosted on this website; choosing a video link opens YouTube. When you visit an external service, its own privacy policy applies. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

5. Retention and security

Musium retains inquiry and consultation correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, arrange lessons, maintain relevant communications, and address legal or security needs. Provider-held submissions, delivery records, logs, and backups are also subject to each provider’s retention practices.

The website and consultation endpoint use HTTPS. Access to inquiry records should be limited to people who need them to respond or operate the service. No online transmission or storage method is completely secure.

6. Children and parents

The consultation form is intended for adult students and parents or guardians arranging lessons for a child. Parents or guardians should submit children’s lesson inquiries and provide only information needed for the consultation. If a child has submitted personal information without a parent’s or guardian’s involvement, please contact Musium so the information can be reviewed and removed as appropriate.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

You may choose not to use the form and contact Musium by email or telephone instead. You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you have provided by emailing pianomusium@gmail.com. Musium may ask for limited information to verify your request and may retain records where necessary for legal, security, or ongoing service reasons. Applicable privacy rights depend on your location.

You can clear the saved language preference through your browser’s site-data settings. External services’ account controls and privacy choices are managed with those services.

8. Lesson recordings and the uploader

This website policy does not describe the processing of Zoom lesson recordings, Google or YouTube OAuth tokens, or uploader records. Those activities are covered by the separate Musium Zoom YouTube Uploader Privacy Policy. Submitting a website consultation form does not connect your Zoom or Google account or authorize lesson recording.

9. Updates and contact

If website features or information practices change, Musium will update this policy and the date above.
