Musium Zoom YouTube Uploader

Privacy Policy · Version 1 Effective date: October 9, 2026 Last updated: October 9, 2026 Operator: Musium

This policy explains what information Musium Zoom YouTube Uploader handles, why it is retained, and how it is protected when transferring Zoom cloud recordings to a designated YouTube channel.

At a glance

Original-file transfer: The uploader retrieves Zoom recordings and necessary metadata and uploads the original files without additional compression or re-encoding. Unlisted videos: Videos are created as Unlisted on the YouTube channel designated by the operator. Storage for automation: OAuth tokens and upload records are stored on the Muse cloud server.

01. Scope

This policy applies to the automatic recording-transfer feature of Musium Zoom YouTube Uploader (the “uploader”) and the server used to operate it.

The uploader checks cloud recordings in an authorized Zoom account and uploads new original MP4 files as Unlisted videos to the YouTube channel designated by the operator. It is an operational tool that automates transfers between authorized accounts and channels, rather than a social service for the general public.

This policy page does not collect visitors’ personal information through input forms, advertising trackers, or its own cookies. When you follow an external link, the relevant service’s policies apply.

02. Information we process

The uploader processes the following information as necessary to provide its features.

Zoom recording content Video and audio in original MP4 cloud recordings. Recordings may include participants’ faces, voices, shared screens, and lesson content.

Zoom metadata Meeting or recording titles, meeting IDs, recording file IDs, recording times, file types and sizes, download status, and other information needed to identify and transfer recordings.

Google and YouTube information OAuth access and refresh tokens, the authorized YouTube channel identifier, uploaded video IDs and links, visibility settings, upload results, and API error information.

Upload records Deduplication identifiers in the format zoom:<file ID>, processing times, success or failure status, and minimal logs necessary to diagnose errors.

This information is not processed for advertising profiles, credit assessments, or data sales.

03. How and why we process information

1. Check the authorized Zoom account: Use Zoom authentication to retrieve new cloud recording lists and metadata. 2. Check for duplicates: Compare recording file IDs with existing upload records and skip files already processed. 3. Transfer the original file: Process a new original MP4 on the Muse cloud server and send it to the designated YouTube channel without additional compression or re-encoding. 4. Set the video to Unlisted: Anyone with the link can view the video, so links must be managed appropriately. 5. Record and verify results: Record the video ID, link, status, and processing result to prevent duplicate uploads and identify errors.

Our commitment regarding Google API data

The uploader’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data is used only to provide the automatic upload features described above and maintain security. It is not used for advertising, data sales, or training general-purpose AI or machine-learning models.

04. Retention and deletion

Working copies of recordings Original Zoom files may be retained in the Muse cloud server’s workspace for the time needed to transfer them to YouTube, verify upload completion, and recover from failures. Working copies that are no longer necessary are deleted during operation. Originals retained in Zoom and uploaded videos retained in YouTube are subject to those services’ retention settings and deletion policies.

OAuth tokens Zoom and Google/YouTube OAuth tokens are retained on the server while automated operation remains in use. When an account is disconnected or use of the uploader ends, server-side tokens are deleted unless retention is necessary for legal or security reasons.

Upload records Upload records are retained as necessary to prevent duplicates, check status, and address failures. When the operational purpose ends or a deletion request is verified, relevant records are deleted or made non-identifiable.

05. Service providers and international processing

The uploader exchanges information with the following services to perform automatic transfers. Personal information is not sold or provided to third parties for targeted advertising.

Zoom: Provides original cloud recordings and metadata from the authorized account.

Google / YouTube: Handles authorized channel checks, original video uploads, Unlisted visibility settings, and upload-result checks.

Muse cloud infrastructure: Provides the server environment where uploader code runs and OAuth tokens, working files, and upload records are stored.

Depending on their server locations and operating structures, these providers may process information outside your country of residence. Their terms and privacy documentation also apply to their processing.

06. How we protect information

OAuth tokens and account configuration files are kept separate from public pages and distributable installation packages, in restricted locations on the server. Tokens, secret keys, and authenticated download URLs are kept out of ordinary notifications and public logs. Transfers use the encrypted connections provided by Zoom and Google/YouTube. Only permissions needed for the features are used, and upload records prevent duplicate processing of the same original file. Error logs and access permissions are reviewed. If suspicious access or a security incident is identified, appropriate measures may include disconnecting accounts and revoking tokens.

No electronic storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security. Reasonable safeguards are applied according to the nature of the information and the associated risks.

07. Your choices and rights

Account owners and other relevant individuals may request information about processing, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, or withdrawal of consent to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Disconnecting Google You may revoke the uploader’s access at any time in your Google account’s security settings. Revoking access stops new video uploads and checks of existing upload status. You may separately request deletion of server-side tokens and upload records.

Disconnecting Zoom Revoking the uploader’s permissions in Zoom or discarding connection credentials stops new recording queries and downloads. Videos already transferred to YouTube are not automatically deleted and must be managed separately in the YouTube channel.

Responsibilities toward recording participants The operator who records and uploads a meeting or lesson must inform participants about recording, its purpose, and the sharing scope of Unlisted links, and obtain necessary consent. Where children are involved, the operator must confirm applicable parental-consent requirements and other legal obligations.

08. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when features, connected services, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated appropriately before taking effect, and the last-updated date at the top of this page will be revised. Changes to the purpose or manner of processing Google user data will be preceded by relevant notices and any required consent procedures.

Privacy inquiries or deletion requests For access revocation, deletion of OAuth tokens or upload records stored on the server, or other privacy questions, please use the contact channel on the Musium website. If verification of the requester is necessary, only the minimum additional information will be requested.
